Premium Thick Walled Basalt Sleevings
for EURO 6 Exhaust Systems
PGHB.4 : High Temperature Basalt Sleevings are manufactured from Basalt fibre yarn knitted to form a thick walled sleeve. These sleeves provide excellent thermal insulation and protection, making them ideal for use on vehicle exhausts systems and can provide continuos thermal protection up to 750ºC.
Basalt Sleeves have been designed to help keep exhaust gases as hot as possible as they flow through the exhaust to catalytic converters, this increases burn efficiency and helps to reduce harmful emissions (CO2).
Typical applications include heavy goods vehicles (HGV's), buses, power generation units, and also high temperature industrial applications over pipe-work, hoses and cables.

Characteristics:

- Excellent insulation properties providing protection to personnel and / or sensitive electrical wiring and components running close to the exhaust systems.
